Volunteers are the backbone of the market and fill a range of very important roles that involve market day operation.

We acknowledge and thank the following people/organisations for their extraordinary and ongoing commitment and contributions to the market.

Warwick Dickson
Manages volunteer team to set up and pack up market and in particular the breakfast stall. Attends every market, ensures all safety requirements are met, maintains a clean safe environment and ensures all equipment is operating in a clean safe manner. 

Helen Grant

Manages the kitchen team, sources produce, prepares, cooks and serves all food for SFM breakfast stall. The total meals served can reach up to 700 during busier markets. This is a significant contribution to revenue and to funding market costs and therefore enabling the market to operate independently. 

Lions Club Mildura
Arrive at every market with a can-do attitude. They donate the use of their mobile barbecue and provide a volunteer crew of ten to assist the breakfast coordinator in cooking. 

Slow Food Mildura especially Brad Fyfe and Jon Armstrong
Conducts free cooking demonstrations at every market. Their role is to offer, educate and inspire healthy food options using seasonal produce that has been sourced directly from the market.

A special thanks goes also to the many, many stallholders, volunteers and committee members.

Sunraysia Farmers Market would not be the special market it is without your happy smiles and fabulous contributions.
