Please welcome a new grower to the Sunraysia Farmers and Makers Market — Riverland Calm Farming, run by Mark and Liesel Joosten.

Mark and Liesel are bringing beautiful, farm fresh sweet potatoes in four delicious varieties. Grown with care and full of flavour, they’re perfect for roasting, baking, or adding to your favourite meals.

They will also have taro plants available, ready to pop straight into your garden if you’d like to try growing something a little different at home.

Make sure you stop by their stall, say hello, and support this wonderful new local grower while picking up some quality produce straight from the farm.

This month’s market promises a true celebration of fresh, local abundance. Stallholders will be showcasing a bounty of seasonal produce grown with care across the region. From fresh fruit and vegetables to artisan creations, every stall offers something worth discovering.

The Sunraysia Farmers & Makers Market is turning 20, and we’re inviting the community to join us for a very special celebration on December 6 at Jaycee Park Mildura

We’re proud to announce that Costa Georgiadis, host of ABC’s Gardening Australia, will be our special guest on the morning of the event. Costa is a passionate advocate for sustainability, community, and growing local — values that perfectly align with everything our market stands for.

For the past two decades, the Sunraysia Farmers & Makers Market has operated as a not-for-profit organisation, supporting local growers, producers, and makers — and giving back to the community through donations, events, and partnerships. This milestone is a celebration of all that we’ve built together.

This is more than just a market day — it’s a celebration of 20 years of community, connection, and local pride.

Our winter breakfast menu as arrived!

Showcasing the best of our stallholder’s produce, it’s a taste experience, not to be missed.

Featuring:-

French Toast drizzled with fig syrup (Just Figs) and served with a dollop of fresh cream

Pancakes with tart lemon curd (The Red Zuccini) , fresh cream and dusted with freshly sprinkled icing sugar

Zucchini fritters, smashed avocado (Hoyle’s) served with two free range poached eggs (SRS Benetook Farms) on ciabatta bread

Vegetarian Budha bowl, brimming with veg, free range egg, topped with smashed avocado and ciabatta bread

Gourmet sausage (award winning from Muller’s Meats) in bread, or plain if you are so inclined.

Our all time favourites are still on the menu – our Big Farmers Breakfast and our Egg and Bacon roll (or add veg to really make it something special!)

All are served with home made sauce and relish!

With orange season now upon us a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice is just the thing to have with breakfast!

Then there is always homemade cake for dessert!!

Markets will feature on the 5th June and 12th of June (8am-12pm).

Both markets will see us joining with Riverfront Boutique Markets.

Sunraysia Farmers Market stalls will feature our superb farmers produce and gourmet goods.

Riverfront Boutique Markets will showcase local artisans handmade goods.

For the 12th June, Mildura Muscle Car club will have a display of vintage cars.

Sit and relax under the shady gums, with a gourmet farmers breakfast. Featuring award winning sausages from Muller’s Meats, along with the best of produce, from the Farmers Market stalls.

With live music, it’s a great way to sit and relax on a Saturday.
