Our wonderful market is now in a new-normal CovidSAFE format, with markets each 1st and 3rd Saturday morning from 8 am to 11 am. (Refer above…)
Take-away food and drink can be consumed at farmer’s markets in accordance with current DHHS guidelines, so while we cannot have our famous “sit down” breakfast made with farm-fresh produce yet, our limited breakfast menu items all use local produce including Muller’s Meats bacon and gourmet sausages, srs inc farm fresh free range eggs and freshly-baked rolls and baps from Sunraysia Bread & Butter Bakery!
Our stalls will appear a little differently because our main priority is keeping you (our patrons), our stallholders and our volunteers safe during these Covid regulated times.
Our stalls are double-spaced to allow plenty of room for you to access every grower while maintaining 1.5m distance from other attendees.
We recommend that you point to your selections and not handle any produce or products that you’re not purchasing. Stallholders will happily collect your selections for you and place them into your bags.
Each stall will have approved hand sanitiser available for your use, and stations will be positioned around the market with hands-free temperature checking and sanitiser dispensing. There will also be QR CODE check in signs around the market and we strongly encourage you to scan and complete this for contact tracing if that becomes necessary. Don’t worry, your details are not visible to any other users and are only stored for the mandatory 28 days and will not be used for any other purpose.
While we love to see you at the market, this is not a social event and we encourage you to come, shop, and go. This will allow more people to visit the market without creating congregating crowds or breaching the DHHS rules for outdoor gatherings. Grab a coffee from Glen’s “Common Ground” van on your way out!
